If the A-frame level and the load level are the same, then the maximum usable height is a little over twelve feet. The maximum length of I-beam available is more or less fifteen feet for the six thousand pound variety, and that’s the maximum distance the load can be carried. The moveable crane does not mean that it can travel with the load. The loads can be lifted and move only along the straight line along I-beam. The use of the Aluminum Gantry Crane is therefore limited to moving the load in a straight line along I-beam. The height of I-beam is increased by adjusting the mounting height. However, the maximum height is fixed, and you can’t go beyond that.

The safety factor

The safety factors of cranes are well documented. The manufacturer of the crane is liable for any defect and the consequences of that error. However, the liability of the manufacturer ceases if the crane is used for purposes beyond the scope of its use.
